It was created on 26th November in the recording studio Mr.Wombat, where Elsa Šebková, the founder of the Syntropy project, answered very interesting and apt questions.

A big thank you to the Association of Private Agriculture (ASZ), which since 2021 has been trying to bring the reality and everyday life of farmers closer to the Czech public through the podcast Sedláci v éteru.

We would like to thank Radim Kotrba for the idea, the director of ASZ, Mr. Jaroslav Šebek for the approval, Tomas Zavadil and Lukas Senft for the preparation and guiding the show and Vojta Zavadil for the recording and production!

For example, in this episode on syntropic agriculture, you will learn that the word “syntropic” really doesn’t even mean “subtropical, tropical or synergistic”, but something much better :D. Or how this way of farming differs from permaculture or regenerative agriculture.

You will also learn how this kind of farming came into being, how Elsa got in it that there is no turning back, where everywhere you can actually farm this way and how it looks like with the development of syntropic farming in the Czech Republic.

We wish you a pleasant listening!

In the podcast, Elsa talks about her journey to syntropic farming. Photo: the experimental plot she set up as part of her training with the ECOTOP Foundation in Bolivia: vegetable production in a syntropic farming regime. The aim is to have the soil in better condition at the time of harvest than at the time of sowing.
