What do cocoa ceremonies and syntropic agriculture have in common? According to Aztec tradition, the spirit Cacaotl came into this world to help open the heart of man through the heart of Mother Earth.
Today, most cocoa production is linked to the devastation of rainforest ecosystems, monoculture plantations and chemical spraying.
But syntropic agriculture can offer ways to grow cocoa and any other crop while supporting the creation of nature’s diverse ecosystems full of water, nutrients and life in its many forms.
That’s why we have brought you a unique cacao from the Garden of Eden of the founder of the movement himself, Ernst Gotsch, as well as a ceremonial organic cacao from our friend Temoka from the Azteca-Chichimeca tribe of Mexico, and together we would like to talk about responsibility to the Earth, syntropic agriculture and the philosophy and cosmovision of Cacaotl. Let’s experience together what it is like to have the spirit of Cacaotl speak to our hearts through the heart of Mother Earth. We look forward to seeing you!
